Sweet love story but not as realistic or enjoyable as her other works.
No desire to re-read this story. I am always interested in other works by this author.
Not really about music or Cowboys, as the title might suggest, but pretty darn good. It does take place in Texas and Oklahoma on both sides of the Red River, which is home territory, small towns, which are pretty near the same wherever you live, and reviving an old flame. Easy reading.
Very good Carolyn Brown is my hero. There are so many life lesson in her stories from the lyrics in a song to the situations the characters face and how they handle it. I am reading every Carolyn Brown story I can find all others will have to wait
I love Carolyns books. They just make you want to crawl in them and live. I'm so happy that Angel and Clancy got a second chance. My favorite part is when Angel let loose on bitchy Melissa on the beach. Carolyns books just make you feel good. Thanks for the reissue of this book because otherwise I may not have gotten to read it!
